1. Overview
At Fine Art Printing Studio, we take great care in packaging every order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Our packaging process is designed to protect your prints from bending, moisture, and external damage during shipping.
We prioritize sourcing packaging materials locally in Australia to support local businesses while maintaining high-quality protection standards. However, in cases where local stock is unavailable, we may source equivalent materials from other trusted suppliers.
The packaging methods described below are our default approach, but we may adjust them if necessary to ensure equal or enhanced protection based on the order’s size, fragility, and shipping requirements.
Â
2. Packaging Methods
-Sizes Up to A3 & Similar
Unframed prints up to A3 and similar sizes are shipped flat in rigid protective packaging by default.

âś” Protection Materials (Standard or Equivalent Alternative):
• Wrapped in acid-free tissue paper
• Secured with Scotch 811 removable magic tape (ensures safe removal without residue)
• Additional kraft paper reinforcement if necessary
• Sealed inside a Bagside adhesive plastic bag for moisture protection
• Reinforced backboards for extra stiffness:
• A3 & Similar Sizes: 1050 gsm backboard
• Smaller than A3: 700 gsm backboard
âś” Handling Labels:
• “Fragile” and “Do Not Bend” stickers applied to ensure careful handling
-Sizes Above A3 & Similar
For prints larger than A3, we use reinforced mailing tubes by default for added protection.

Framed Prints or Stretched Canvas require additional protection to prevent damage during transit.

3. Flexibility in Packaging Approach
Our default packaging methods have been carefully chosen for optimal protection, but we may adjust them as needed to provide:
âś… Better protection based on media type, size, weight, or shipping conditions
âś… Alternative materials if necessary, ensuring equal or superior protection
Fine Art Printing Studio reserves the right to modify the packaging method at our discretion to ensure your order is delivered safely.
Â
4. Shipping & Handling Labels
To ensure safe handling during transit, appropriate stickers such as “Fragile” and “Do Not Bend” are applied to packages as needed, depending on the packaging type.
