FAQ
What is a canvas print, and how long does it last?
What is Canvas Prints
We carefully select certified archival canvases from renowned manufacturers known for exceptional quality and durability. Paired with our 12-colour archival pigment inks, your print delivers rich colors and stunning detail — crafted to last and be enjoyed for generations.
Why choose us for canvas printing?
We provide affordable canvas prints using premium canvas media and 12-colour giclée pigment printing — delivering archival-grade results for both artists and photographers. We offer professionally colour-managed solutions for art on canvas prints and canvas photo prints with outstanding detail and archival-grade results.
Our matte and lustre finishes are ideal for tonal accuracy, including high-detail black and white canvas prints. With roll widths up to 44”, we can also produce wide-format panorama canvas prints with exceptional clarity. From local service for canvas printing Melbourne to fast national delivery, we’re trusted by creatives seeking the best canvas prints Australia has to offer.
What kind of stretcher bars and wrapping method do you use?
We use the Gallery Wrap method by default, where the image extends and wraps around the edges of the frame (stretcher bars are approx. 2.0–3.2 cm thick depending on stock). Please ensure your artwork includes at least 3 inches (7.6 cm) of extra canvas on each side for stretching.
If you prefer a Museum Wrap (edges remain white or solid colour), let us know in your order notes.
What file format and resolution should I upload?
We accept high-resolution JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and PDF files. For canvas prints, we recommend at least 240 DPI at your desired print size to ensure good quality.
Can I request a custom print size that’s not listed?
Yes, use the Custom Print page to request a quote. We will respond within 1-2 business dats with pricing and a dedicated order link if you’d like to proceed.
Can I see a proof or sample before placing a larger order?
Yes. For artists, photographers, and creators placing bulk or B2B orders, we offer optional soft proofing and sample prints on request. Please contact us before placing your full order to discuss the options.
How long does printing and delivery take, and where do you ship?
Standard orders are printed within 1–3 business days. We ship Australia-wide exclusively via Australia Post, and all parcels include tracking for your peace of mind. See Order Process & Timelines and Shipping Information pages for details.
Will you verify my image before printing?
Yes — we manually check all files before printing. If your image’s size or ratio doesn’t match the selected print size, we’ll contact you to confirm your cropping preference or other adjustments before proceeding.
What is the border option?
The Border will be included in your chosen print size and left unprinted, showing the natural paper colour. This is typically used to leave visible margins for handling, framing, or signing. Specifying this option helps guide us during trimming to ensure the final result meets your expectations.
