7. Colour and Media Variations, Material Characteristics & Quality Guarantee
We produce every print directly from the image file provided by the customer, using professional print software, printer profiles matched to each media type, and one of the most advanced 12-colour pigment-ink fine art printers. The printed result is an accurate reproduction of that file.
Perceived differences between the print and an on-screen image can occur due to factors such as monitor calibration, the colour range of the display, ambient lighting, or the characteristics of the chosen media. Different papers and canvases vary in texture, base colour, finish, and ink absorption, which can affect how tones, contrast, and saturation appear. These variations are a normal and expected part of fine art printing and do not indicate any change to the original file during production. Customers requiring precise colour matching for critical projects may request an optional proof print before production.
Natural Material Characteristics
Premium fine art papers, cotton rag stocks, and artist-grade canvases each have their own distinctive texture and surface personality. These qualities such as subtle variations in texture, or a natural fibre pattern are part of what makes archival prints unique. Occasionally, these surfaces may reveal minute specks or gentle variations in how inks absorb, which are not defects but an inherent feature of authentic fine art media.
Studio Reprint Guarantee
If your print arrives with an error or damage caused during production or transit, the studio will replace it promptly at no additional cost.
This guarantee applies to the original shipment only and does not apply to any reshipped orders. For more details, please refer to the Shipping Information page.
